Invite staff and set roles

Give helpers only the access they need.

Settings › Staff › Invite sends an email with a link to set a password. Roles: Admin (everything except billing, staff, domains), Manager (products, orders, customers, content), Fulfilment (orders and status only), Support (orders read-only, inbox, customers), Viewer (read-only).

Suspending or changing a role signs that person out immediately. Seats depend on your plan.

Who should be an admin

Admin is the owner’s backup: everything except billing, staff and domains. Give Fulfilment to the person who packs parcels, and Support to someone who answers buyers but should not change prices. Viewer is for an accountant who only needs to look. A suspended person loses the session immediately; their past orders stay on the shop.

If the screen does not match

Menu names follow the dashboard in English. A translated dashboard uses the same order: the checklist on Home, then Products, Orders, and Settings. Your plan can hide a feature this guide mentions. Analytics reports, for example, are on Growth and Pro. The page will say so rather than show an empty button.
