Connect your own domain
Two nameservers at your registrar; SSL is automatic.
Your free address keeps working. A custom domain is added from Dashboard › Domains › Connect a domain.
- Enter the domain (without www).
- Copy the two nameservers shown.
- At the registrar where you bought the domain, replace its nameservers with those two. The wizard shows the exact menu path for common registrars.
- Wait — usually minutes, sometimes a few hours. We check every minute while the page is open and email you when it is live.
Existing email on the domain
Existing DNS records are imported automatically, so email keeps working.
Error: domain is in another Cloudflare account
Remove the domain from that account first, then try again.
